Licencing: Office 365 Enterprise subscription
• Office 365 E5 or
• Office 365 E1/E3 with Phone System Add-on
Telstra calling for Office 365
• Suitable calling plan

Option Two: Incorporate into your current infrastructure
Incorporate Microsoft Teams Calling into your existing PABX or VOIP infrastructure.
Requirements for Each User
Licencing: Office 365 Enterprise subscription
• Office 365 E5 or
• Office 365 E1/E3 with Phone System Add-on
Microsoft Direct Routing
• Customer PSTN provider
- Customer SIP trunks
- 3rd party PBX (optional)
- Certified Session Border Controller (SBC)
Hardware
View Microsoft list of recommended hardware including desk phones, room systems and conference phones. Customers can use existing hardware but will not get advanced features.
*The SBC connects Voice Trunks and the PSTN provider to the Microsoft Phone System via Direct Routing. The SBC can also connect to third-party telephony entities, such as PBXs, Analog Telephony Adapters, and so on. The SBC can either be a physical device, virtual appliance deployed in customer’s private cloud or virtual appliance deployed in Azure.
Option Three: Mix of Teams Calling plans and Direct Routing
A calling solution with a mix of Microsoft Teams Calling plans and Direct Routing.
